Default What did you think of the revelation on Entertainment Tonight on Liz's affair???

Wow what a shock that was about Liz and Bewitched's director Richard Michaels and their affair. Many said it was Bill Asher who cheated on Liz. The truth came out and the reason why the show was done. It was on its way out anyway. The only thing that disturbed me about this revelaton was why after Liz has been dead for 11 years this truth came out in the open.

Oh No

I was surprised to see his revelation after dear Liz had passed.

Why did he wait so long? It makes me not want to believe him.

Ahh CRAP! I missed it, forgot it was on. I don't think I'd believe him, why wait so long? He's admitted in the past that he blew it and shouldn't have let her go. He was always at work and seemed to have ignored Liz. Now his story is changing.

I don't think you know what we're talking about. Liz and Richard Michaels got together during the last year of Bewitched. It was a secret and the set hairdresser wastheir go-between. She was still married to Bill Asher, but some people say he had been cheating on her before this. Anyway, Richard Michaels seems like a good guy. I can believe it. It Robert Foxworth i don't care for. He seems too arrogant for me. But Liz was a great woman and I am looking forward to reading this new book, especially the interview with Richard Michaels who talks a lot about Bewitched in the book according to the description.

All I know is what Bill Asher had said during an interview that I had seen. Who cares who had an affair it went down over 30 years ago. Why keep hashing up things that are hurtful to her children. I'm not getting the book, I hate when someone digs up dirt on someone else who is not here to defend themselves. They're just smearing Elizabeth Montgomery's memory.

It is too bad that it was needed to be brought out in the open over 30 years later especially when Liz is not here to defend herself.

Where did you find the interview with Bill Asher???

Well, I got the first edition of this book and it is no smear job. In fact, it's just the opposite, a glowing tribute. There's nothing bad in it at all. Has loads of pictures, too.

It wouldn't have surprised me. She was married so many times.

I read the book (A Bewitching Life is the title, the author's first name is Rita, her last name escapes me at the moment). It was an interesting read, especially about Liz's early years and family background. I don't understand why they needed to dredge up the affair in print. What good does it do now, so long after her passing? I'm sure it did a lot of good for her kids and grandkids.

Why does anyone care? The poor woman died of cancer years ago, why open old wounds now? None of it really matters now.
