I love the Jeffersons but the interesting thing about the show was the MAJOR difference between the quality of Season 1 & Season 2 shows. It seemed the show had some problems during Seasons 2 - 4, but rebound greatly in Season 5. It just seems odd because most shows are best in the first few seasons and then the quality goes down.

To me year 1 is the best. Year 2 is OK, but one of the problems is Damon Evans wasn't as good as Mike Evans and Zara Cully was in it too much. The show was always entertaining, but I find year 5 is a lot better than I had thought. I thought I wouldn't have liked it since neither Lionel was on that year and I never liked Jay Hammer's role, but season 5 has several very entertaining stories. Seasons 6 and 7 are quite good too, then it drops off in years 8 and 9. 9 is the worst. Year 10 is actually better, maybe because Michael G. Moye was the executive producer that season. Year 11 is entertaining for nostalgic reasons.

There are still a few season 1 eps I don;t like such as Mother Jefferson Birthday. But season one seems like it's on a higher level than all the other season because of how wild George was in that season. He yelled the LOUDEST in that season than any other-lol |

From what I noticed, Zara Cully only appeared in a couple episodes during Season 3 and only 2 (3 if you count the second part of "The Grand Opening") during Season 4. |
