If im not mistaken it was the first show to deal with the Rodney King incident. I always liked the show and I was dissapointed when it was taken off. I still watch it when Im off.

I agree it dealt with ALOT of the issues that Black people face, including the Rodeny King beatting. If it stayed around longer it could of dealt with the O. J Simspon trail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if it had a second generations these days for example it would deal with Obama in the white house etc... the only issue major issue i can think that he didn't touch was homosexuality...
