in the 50s, 60s, and 70s, shows VERY rarely, if ever, had final episodes.* However, the final "Honeymooners" special, in, I think, 1979 ended with Ralph getting a promotion at the bus company and the Kramdens coming into more money.
*"The Dick van Dyke show", "The Fugitive", and "The Bob Newhart show" had them, but those were RARE exeptions. And "I Dream of Jeannie" was going to, but that's another story. |
