I'm so happy! I just found this board. Finally a place where all us UM fans can talk about the show. I look forward to discussing Unsolved Mysteries with everyone.
I have a couple questions if anybody has any answers could you please answer: 1) What is it with Lifetime? I realize they don't show most of the stories anymore. Did they always just have this few or did they once air everything? 2) When did Lifetime start showing Unsolved Mysteries? Anybody know the year? What did they show then? Alot of old ones that they no longer air? 3) Does anybody remember a time when if memory serves me correctly, Unsolved Mysteries was on Lifetime at 7 & 8 pm and on Wednesday I think NBC would show a new episode at 9? Maybe I'm confusing the times. I remember one night a week I would get to see 3 episodes. Anybody have a date for when that might have been? 4) Does anyone have any old episodes that they are selling? 5) It's been a long time since I saw the NBC episodes when they aired. Was the format of the show different? What was different about it? Didn't they used to give the 800 number to the phone center? Thanks to anybody that can help answer. |

In 1994, Lifetime moved the show to 8 pm (EST), usually showing them Monday through Thursday at that time, while NBC aired the show Fridays at 8 pm (EST). |

Welcome to the board!
The NBC episodes weren't much different except Lifetime does edit things out for their own amusement or to make room for updates from time to time. Yes NBC did show the 800 number after each segment. There are quite a few segments shown on NBC that Lifetime, for whatever reason, never shows. I think Lifetime was a lot better about showing most all the episodes early on, now it seems like they keep ramming the new ones down our throat and also keep showing the same ones over and over. |

I'm very disappointed that Lifetime keeps showing the same episodes over and over when there are SO many out there. That's one reason I don't watch all the time. Is there a way to contact Lifetime so we can ask them to show some different episodes?

Thanks, Kane. I think we should all send letters. Maybe Lifetime just needs to know that a lot of people still care about this show and we want to see more.
