How many times can Thelma fall in love my God???????
That girl fell in and outta love more times than anyone!

He was a great looking guy, but for some reason, he seemed older than Thelma, not her type, he looked like he would be better off with Willona, they looked closer in age.

she's right...everytime i see that episode, i can't help but think of him!!!!

but the actor is far better looking...Lionel, well, he is not so handsome, IMO.

Yeah Thelma did fall in love a lot on the show. But did she ever say that she was in love with this guy? I can't recall if she did or not. And yes I agree the guy wasn't Thelma's type at all, but he was a way better then Ibe, he really wasn't her type. I don't know what the casting director was thinking when they casted him.

Oh God yes, this guy (the bigamist) was one good looking guy. Ibe, man, don't even get me started. But I will say this, Ibe was FUGLY!!!! and she forgot all abt how he felt women were less superior in his country. And to think, she was willing to move to that country???? Give me a break.
As for the bigamist, Thelma did tell Willona that her boyfriend "loves her". I have to assume she loved him too because if she didn't, then she wouldn't have put up such a defense for him when JJ and Willona were trying to tell her to leave him. She even told her brother she hated him. She wouldn't have said that for a guy that she didn't care or love.

As for the bigamist, Thelma did tell Willona that her boyfriend "loves her". I have to assume she loved him too because if she didn't, then she wouldn't have put up such a defense for him when JJ and Willona were trying to tell her to leave him. I just watched that episode again - Thelma did indeed tell Lloyd that she loved him.
