Boy, wasn't Robbie Rist irritating in "The Burger Queen" just like he was in "The Brady Bunch?" Looking on the bright side, at least they didn't cast him as Little Earl. He might've been a bit too old for that part by then. Big Ollie and Little Ollie (shudder!) Big Ollie could've been played by that 70's singer Paul Williams.

Yeah, I remember Paul Williams AND Robbie Rist, during the latter part of the 70's decade...
They sure could've been blood brothers, FER SHURE...

John Denver could've been a better choice.

in the 70's, John Denver and Robbie Rist appeared together at the Grammys to present an award. They dressed the same and they looked identical. Robbie Rist worked with John Denver:
Life as a child star Long before his time as a purveyor of pure pop, Rist was a child star. "I was into the 1930s Universal monster movies and wanted to be in one, so I sort of bitched to my parents 'I want to be in the movies! I want to be in the movies!'" says Rist. "So they figured they'd take me to an audition so I'd see how dull it is. And I got the job, and then got another one, so I sort of stumbled into working all the time. By the time I did the Brady Bunch thing I'd done about 100 commercials, I'd worked with John Denver, Jonathan Winters…I dunno, a lot of Johns. I'd done a ton of stuff, and then the Brady Bunch happened, and by then the show was already on its way out." |

...I had no idea that Robbie was as famous as he was, until way after the fact (meaning, long after the 70's decade was long gone)! Anyhow, it looks like he worked with a bunch of known icons of that decade.
Cool for Robbie...
