Default Another Interesting Fact about Season 6 of Good Times

This was the only season of Good Times when CBS never aired a RERUN. From the start of season 6 to the ending of season 6, every episode aired on CBS was a new episode.

not many shows can say that. It was off for a few months though. I think it would be neat to see a new episode of a show for the whole year. All 52 weeks.

That's because by season 6, the show was already in the tank.

Yes, there was no reason to show repeats of the show. It was a goner. All CBS was doing was burning off the episodes because they were already paid for.

I think there were still 4 left unaired. It's funny everyone had high hopes when Esther Rolle returned and it meant nothing-lol

That would make sense, So they were just trying to hurry and get rid of it because it was taking up a time slot LOL.

I still thought that a Network would air repeats if a TV show had SAGGING ratings. I thought New eps was aired when there is a LARGE AUDIENCE. Why air new eps if no one was watching?-lol

Because there was probably a commitment to air a certain number. Besides, it was aired in the summer. You know as well as I that there is nothing to watch in the summertime.
