well, Rose, Holly and Alyssa have all said they don't want a ninth season... you can't force them into something against their will (remember that NBC offered Seinfeld $110 million for a tenth season but he was finished with the show after season 9, so he rejected the offer).

The shows been on eight seasons and it's run its course, it's time to go and the three leads all feel that way too, so it's not like the show is being taken away against their will. The show is a good five seasons past it's peak anyways (I think season 3 was the best, and I notice a lot of people feel that way too, though 2 and 4 were also great) and it's been in decline since season 5 and has really become awful in the past two seasons IMO. 8 seasons is longer than anyone expected in 1998, the show had a great run, it stayed on too long and its really time to say goodbye to it because it's a total shadow of the show it was from seasons 1-4 (season 5 really sucked but season 6 was actually getting good again and is my stopping point with the DVD's IMO, they should've quit while ahead. Season 7 was bland and season 8 has been even worse by trying to appeal to teens with Kaley Cuoco, who does not blend in at all)

yes, but Holly, Rose and Alyssa have all said no way, no how a season nine will happen and at this point in the show, the loss of any one of them is the end of the show, it was still new and hot when Shannen left, so there's a difference between 2001 and now. Considering the WB was so cheap that they fired both Dorian Gregory and Brian Krause because of budget issues, I highly doubt that there's going to be a "Friends" style last-minute renewal where they WB/CW is going to cough up an ungodly portion of money to keep them for another year. Season 8 happened pretty much by miracle and this season has had "last season" written all over it. Last season, they wanted the show to go on another season, this season, they feel like it's come full circle. Alyssa will have matched Who's The Boss' run of eight seasons when it ends in May, which IMO, is a feat into itself because few actors have starred in more than one long-running series.

After eight seasons, most shows have pretty much done all there is to be done. Charmed's ratings have been in sharp decline since Shannen Doherty left the show and each season has been lower than the one before it. It has lasted eight seasons, I think most people agree it's time to bow out.

I voted, but even if Charmed comes first in the poll, it probably won't be brought back.

I voted, but Charmed will almost certainly not be back no matter how much we vote.

Surprise Surprise it's gonna be gone in a few months....I won't be voting. This show has definately run it's course. And dammit! does it have to be on 4 times a day on TNT???? TNT needs to get rid of Charmed and put more quality shows , like Alias on more....I am still waiting, and actually getting pissed off now. There was supposed to be this Big epic battle coming. Well that was before Christmas break, and still nothing has happened. Piper said a line about it last week, but nothing much. They took Leo away because he'd be a distarction...well what the hell from???... If they were planning on having a seasonal story arc, they really suck at it...I'm just done with Charmed. It's not good anymore...Don't think I'm bashing (well, I am but, whatever)...I was a fan for the first 4 seasons. The 6th Season was good too, but it's gone downhill from there. The show is too comedic and "light" now, for my taste.....PACK YOUR BAGS CHARMED ONE'S. YOUR GETTIN' THE BOOT!
