Default Harry Anderson Interview Sound Bites

My friend just sent this to me. Go to:

http://www.justmyshow.com/

Here, when you go under "listen now", you can hear short interview sound bites of Harry talking about which cast members he keeps in touch with from "Night Court", where his Judge Harry stuff is, and his take on "The Surreal Life."

They're short, but fun.

Wow. I love all three of those. And if that does come on TV, including interviews, I definately want to see it!

I like hearing who he keeps in touch with. I was kinda surprised he doesn't keep in touch with Markie as much, but like holidays and things, but meaning too, but you know how life goes... lol.

Thank you so much for the link, NitCrt1 Those are terrific!

Thank you very much.

It was too hard to transcribe, but I'll give you the basics.

Harry on...
who he talks to from "Night Court"-Since John Larroquette is from New Orleans where Harry is now, he hears from him a lot. Harry also keeps in contact with Reinhold Weege. Markie he doesn't hear from as often. As Harry says in the interview about his contact with Markie, "It's more just the fault of forgetting to make contact." Yet, they do keep in touch during the holidays. He doesn't hear from Richard Moll. Marsha he hasn't seen/talked to in years. He does see Mike Finneran (Art the janitor). He said that Mike comes through New Orleans a lot. He didn't say anything about Charlie in his sound bite though.

Harry on the stuff in the Judge's office...
The large gavel was built especially for him by a magic friend of his, so he still has that along with the following items which came from his home...his hats, Maltese Falcon...basically the majority of the stuff you see in Harry's chambers belonged to Harry Anderson. (I also know for a fact that the stuffed Armadillo and the gum ball machine were also Harry's.)

Harry on ever being on the "Surreal Life"...
"Fat chance of that."

No problem on the information. I'm glad to help. To answer your question about autographs...I got lucky. When "Night Court" was still on the air, I wrote to all the cast members. I received personalized autographed 8X10's of Harry, Markie, John (My sister spilled something on this one. Everything, including the autograph is perfectly intact. But due to the film of the picture, it is not permanently afixed to the glass of the frame I put it in.) , Marsha, and an autographed post card of Richard Moll as Bull. I had to bid on an Ebay auction for an autographed Charlie Robinson picture. I also own an autographed deck of rare playing cards from Harry Anderson, givien to me as a thank you for something I sent him. I have an autographed cast picture also that I won from Ebay. I have to say that getting a celebrity address now to send fan mail is much more difficult than it used to be. However, you may be able to find a book in the bookstore with celebrity addresses in it. I'll do some research for you and see what I can dig up. As for not getting anything from Harry yet...be patient. He has a lot on his plate right now from what I understand. Once things settle down for him in New Orleans, you may hear from him.

I'm sure you guys have seen the new thread I just posted about it, but in case you haven't...I'm Eric, the host and producer of the Podcast you're talking about. The clips you listened to were bonus material that is not in the actual interview. The first show just went up and is now available for listening at www.justmyshow.com.

Anyway, I was surprised to see that it found it's way over to this site and just wanted to say thanks for checking it out! (I hope you enjoy the full show)

A few people have mentioned that they're having trouble finding where to play the interview. Just go to www.justmyshow.com. Then look for the dark red listen now button or look in the upper right under where it says Just My Show and click on "Listen to the show Now". That will take you to the show page, where you will see the audio player in the upper right. Just hit the play button (the arrow) and is should start. If you prefer (and if you have iTunes, you can search for Just My Show in the iTunes music store and then download it as an MP3.

The bonus clips, if you haven't found them yet, are under the pictures of each guest on that same show page.

Sorry if it was confusing. Thanks again for your interest.

Eric

That sucks.

All I do to collect this kind of stuff is to do a lot of searching online.
Finding autographs is VERY easy and sometimes you'll find high resolution, un-watermarked scans on eBay. A harddrive of pictures is easier to maintain and I can't ruin them. I have luck finding quite good versions of certain images, some large.

Although I keep seeing that black-and-white 1990 picture (The one in the NC Tripod site gallery) of John Larroquette being sold on eBay and I wish I had a credit card to buy it, but most places on eBay won't take a check.

I love that picture.

Yeah it does. But as I said the picture and autograph are still pretty good. The only bad things about it are that you can see in spots where the glossy material on the picture "leaked", I guess and the fact that the picture can't come off the glass. The worst part is that I think the picture you are looking for from 1990 is the one I have. I have to check it out. John dated my picture '91'. It has to be the same one. It is a very nice shot of him.
