they have re released her old LPS on cd, but i cant find her on DVD at all

yes i want to find some of her stand up on dvd
they have reissued some redd foxx stuff on dvd
maybe they will do here too

when i was about 13 i saw her in concert in Washington DC
with my older brother

it was hilarious
and boy, did she have a filthy mouth!

I was reading the comments on Amazon.com about her CD's. Very tempting. Deepdiscountcd has pretty good prices on them. All around the $10.00 range with free shipping. I'll keep an eye out for stuff on DVD. I don't know if you like Shirley Hemphill (Shirley from What's Happening), but she does standup on a VHS release called "Girls of the Comedy Store". I have it somewhere. Here's a copy here:

if u get the CDS bundled together (not really a boxed set, its just the individual cds shrinkwrapped together) u can save even more, i bought that on ebay and paid like $7 per cd in the set
