$3.75 for admissions in Movie Theather

J.J mentioned in the cancer ep with Carl that it cost $3.75 to get in the movies and I thought for 1976 it would be a lot lower. Here in Philly, it's close to $10.00 in 2005, so I figured on 1976 it would defintely be lower than $3.75. Anyone remember what it cost to go to the movies in your town in 1976?
