Default 7 Children Killed In 'Mangled, Charred Mess'

http://www.wyff4.com/news/6439643/detail.html

This story is absolutley heart breaking. I'm sure there is a more detailed article out there, but we were talking about it @ work. This mother lost all 7 of her children,a nd to make matters worse, when the gradnfather heard about it, he died of a heart attack (my boss's words).

If you have a more detailed article, feel free to post it.

What a nightmare I wonder if the breaks went out on the truck.

Sad

It's beyond words. Those poor people, that poor mother. I didn't hear about the grandfather dying of a heart attack. My God, what a heartbreaking story.

EDIT: The story of the grandfather dying...

This is a terrible tragedy. Those poor children! From what I've heard, it sounds like they have a huge problem with speeders on that road.

I would like to know why that 15 year-old was driving the kids by herself when she had only a learner's permit. Where were the parents? I am NOT blaming the girl or her parents for what happened, at least not until there's more information about the accident.

The accident was NOT the 15 year olds fault... the accident woudl have happend if there had been an adult involved or not... but still, you are right, but who knows... I know in some states you CAN get a license @ 15 if you take certain classes.

Not all truckers are bad...but I've seen some who drive those big rigs like they're Corollas with Ferrari engines. I'd love to see them off the road for good.

I hope the truck drivers gets 7 counts of involuntary manslaughter and ends up rotting in jail.

Exactly, if there was an adult in the car, there would probably just be another death. That is so sad. I agree that she shouldn't have been driving herself, but it wasn't her fault, and it would have only been more tragic.

(side note, I just heard Ohio is talking about raising the driving age from 16, I didn't hear to what though.)
