I was doing work for my company around Southeastern Pennsylvania in November 2005, and decided to drive by the General Wayne Inn in Suburban Philadelphia (Marion Township, to be exact). I knew it had closed at least once since the October 1988 airing of the GW Inn Ghosts story on UM, but wanted to see the current status. It was still closed, but there were workers working on the building. I asked one of them if it was going to re-open in the future, and he said "eventually". That's the current update, albeit unofficial, on the General Wayne Inn.
I believe, and do add if anyone knows more on this, that in 1995 or so, there was a murder at the GW Inn of a prior owner, by his own brother! I believe it was featured on "City Confidential" on A&E, which would be interesting that a hotbed of spirits would take on the possibility of another spirit after that murder. |

I think this had to be one of the most useless Unsolved Episodes.

I found it to be a very creepy ghost story since it's so close to home here. I haven't been around The General Wayne Inn in such a long time, But i do remember hearing about that brutal murder that occured years ago which really brought the Inn down after that. Thanks for the update though!

Trance, I agree that it was very creepy. I live in PA and always found it very interesting. And the murder that occured there made it even creepier.
