It was. But when Carl showed up, he told the kids he was going to take Flo to the local joint Burger Pit. The kids talked him into taking her somewhere nice.

It's all about what's in a man's budget-lol It's much cheaper for me to invite a female over for some Chicken Nuggets and French Fries and watching some Good Times eps on DVD-lol

C'mon Soloman...don't invite a woman out on a date and think you can get away with taking her out to a burger joint.
If Carl came out and said, "hey Flo, let's go get some hamburgers and chat" then, I could see Flo deciding whether to go or not. But even Carl showed up in a suit, I can't imagine dressing up like that to take a woman to a fast food place.

What kind of name is THE BURGER PIT!??

I would not want to eat at any restaurant with "pit" in the name, with the possible exception of The Peach Pit on 90210.

It sounds a lot better than "ROSCO"s CHICKEN and WAFFLES"-lol I heard that mentioned on Fresh Prince and Martin
