The WB and UPN merging? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I just caught the tail end of this story on the news, but I heard that UPN and the WB will be merging in the fall to create a new network. I wonder what this means for the future of 8SR?

It won't affect 8SR. It starts in September and 8SR will be off of Daytime WB in all probability by then, since Reba starts then. Daytime WB will still be around in September, just on the new CW network.

Since it's doing okay on The WB, do you think a cable Network may pick it up?

What the WB is doing is Test Syndication. If it is liked on the WB, the newly merged network may take it with them. Who knows?

isn't WB a cable network or is it locial if it is then why is everyone getting WB to watch 8SR

No The WB isnt a cable Network. Whatever channel is your WB channel in Primetime, that's the channel 8SR is most likely on. Check that channel weekdays at 4:00 and 4:30.
