Default Worst episode of Maude

I love Maude, but I never really liked the episode that nearly all takes place in the bathroom when Maude and Walter are getting ready for a party Walter doesn't want to attend, and Maude makes him call the lady and tell them they're not coming or something like that.

Yeah that was a pointless ass episode. Why did viewers have to watch 25 min of Walter and Maude in their bedroom?

They had a weird bathroom too. I don't like how the toilet was in it's own little closet with a sliding door. Man I'd go claustrophobic in there!! :

Philip's Problem: I couldn't stand him in this episode.

There was one that took place in the early morning hours. Maude can't sleep because she's nervous about getting a hysterectomy.

The Speeding Ticket: I was bored by this episode.

I liked the speeding ticket episode a lot. Maude fought for justice to no end and it showed the legal system with hidden skeletons. Maude's hysterectomy episode was all right as far as I remember. The one in the bedroom getting ready for the party was not a good one as far as the first season was concerned, but I don't know if it was the all time worst.

I would say the worst episode of the entire series is Arthur's Medical Convention. Maude had one brief scene and the episode is all about Walter accompanying Arthur on a medical convention and how Arthur's buddies play a practical joke on him. Of all the episode of Maude that I have seen, it is truely the worst.

Yes, that is a rotten a$$ episode. I think it was toward the end of the series, but I'm not positive.

There are a few that I don't want to see again, it's tough to choose one, but all of the musical ones, I think...Baby Sally...whatever that episode is called. Also, Maude's Reunion - my ep list says there are two with this title, but I'm referring to the one where she and Viv go to a college reunion, and find that a friend has had a stroke.

Any episode in which the storyline focuses on Victoria... and Philip. (This is getting to be a long list!))

The Medical Convention is one of the weaker ones, but it follows one of the best, The Analyst, Bea's solo episode.

Any episode that features Walter in nothing but his shorts.

Oh, "Maude's Night Out" is the one you dislike, Philly, with M. and W. in their bedroom, disagreeing about whether or not they will go to a party. I like it, myself. Maude and Walter are my favorite characters, I love their solid, though stormy relationship, so I don't object to not seeing the others. Interestingly, they don't break anything or do a lot of shouting, in this episode.

I am guessing that you also dislike The Convention--one of my favorites, and Bea's according to that long, multi-part interview. It's solely a Maude/Walter, too.
