Well I live abt 45 minutes away from Hollywood. I hope you have a great time. Check out Sunset Blvd. and don't forget the Walk of Fame. There are lots of souvenir shops on Hollywood and Vine. Visit Rodeo Drive. It's so beautiful there. The streets, the buildings, etc. But, you need to visit the beach!!!!!!
If you get a chance, go to Venice Beach. My family love to go there. I got my first tattoo there. It's so nice. And also Santa Monica Pier.

Some places worth checking out:

-VENICE (sorry...I'm like a Venice freak. I absolutely love it there)
-Santa Monica (3rd Street's nice but the Boardwalk is even cooler)
-Universal Studios (you can check out the theme park, but if you go to CityWalk...it's much more exciting at night with all the lights)
-Hollywood Blvd.
-Sunset
-Beverly Hills (I just go and stare at all the expensive stuff I'll never afford and drive around to look at the GORGEOUS homes)
-Westwood (I love Westwood toooo! Since UCLA's in Westwood, they've got some fun places to eat. One place in particular...Dede Reese...I'm not quite sure how it's spelled. It's right in front of a restaurant called Habibi's and they have got the most amazing ice cream sandwiches in the world. For a dollar. I recommend the espresso/cookie dough combo.)
-Mailibu's got some gorgeous beaches as well
-And if you have time...you should check out Oxnard or Santa Barbara (they're both absolutely beautiful)

Hope that helps! =)

OMG! I'm leaving for Disney World on Thursday afternoon and I've always wanted to go to Los Angeles. I want to go on The Price Is Right when I am 18 (which I'm going to be 18 this time in three months).

Oh yes, Oxnard, where I live. Beautiful beaches, just lovely. Drive down Pacific Coast Highway, go to Malibu, which is nearby my city, and maybe see some celebrities while driving; like Britney Spears who is seen here in Malibu on a stretch of road abt a half-hour away from my city:
