Default I can't stop crying

I haven't seen the Goodbye episodes yet, but I just got done watching the episode where Bridget breaks down because she realizes her Dad would've stopped her from walking out in that skimpy dress.

The pain was so real for them...you could definitely tell the acting had stopped and what they were portraying on screen was genuine. I can't stop crying. This hurts so much.

Yeah that was really sad...When she walked to the door and her head went down, I was like "Oh no".....And the episode after that was even better. When the girls are fighting and they tell each other how close each of them were with their dad. Really sad....I think the show did a good job of not forgetting their dad, without making it really sobby and whiney (Full House).. They never forget their Dad, and that's important. Most shows when someone dies, it's a big deal at first, but then they're never spoken of again....The episode should be coming soon when Bridget goes for the school play. That's a very sad one too.

I think the reason why they don't treat it as a big deal at first then let it drop is b/c John was VERY close to each of them. They couldn't just say "Oh well, it's over" and forget about it. The characters actually had to grieve it out just like they did in real life. I mean you can tell those tears they are crying are real, not fake.

It does make you sad though and make you wanna cry. I missed the episode at 4:00 but at 4:30 I watched that one and how bad Bridget felt for ruining Kerry's collage. I am so much like Kerry in many ways it's not even funny. I was sitting there almost yelling at 'Bridget' like Kerry was because she was saying that Kerry was closer to Paul then she was and she didn't even realize how close they were too. Everyone of those kid's were close to him in their own way, they just didn't realize it till then. That's what is so sad. I now try to compare the things that I'm most like with my parents because I don't want to realize it after their gone.

OT: I love the name change Kristel!

But yea I couldnt stop crying too. When Cate went up to see the girls and they all hugged and Cate was saying stuff like "We lost him" "He's gone" and "He's not coming back", that really hurt hearing that. I totally lost it. Like whenever I see a picture of him in the background, or in one of today's episodes when they showed his empty chair at the table, it just hurts. For a long time I really thought I was ok. I wasn't sad anymore, I didn't even miss him cause it feels like his always here with us. But seeing this show again just brought back all the pain like it was the first time.

Thanks, girl I'm lovin' it too.

Anyway, I totally agree. I thought I was going to be able to handle it, but I just ended up breaking down. This is the first time for me viewing 8 Simple Rules, so it's kinda hard.

I can't stop crying either. Everyday when I watch 8SR I cry over something that is brought up. I am very emotional during these episodes.

I agree. I couldn't stop crying during the Eddie tribute shows. Especially the tribute videos.

I wouldn't want to watch the episodes that took place right after he died agian. It would be too sad.

You mean like the one where they go to the cabin? Or when Bridget leaves the rose by his picture and says "Goodnight"? Or how about the red dress one??? My god that was sad.

I love this show and I think that they handeled the death on the show very well. It was so sad, but it wasn't overly depressing.

I'll let you know when this episode is coming on again. Probably in about 3 weeks.

They just started season 1 over the other day.
