I know this isn't a standout episode but I always enjoyed an episode of any show when there is trouble in the workplace.
I didn't know they had restaurant chains in the 19th century. Was it hard for anybody to think that they would really sell the restaurant to a chain in the year 18 something? They even made them wear Mrs. Sullivan green aprons and decorate the business in green. They also got their history all messed up too! I like it when we are supposed to believe that Colonel Sanders offers Mrs. Olson a chance to change the reataurant to a Kentucky Fried Chicken in the 19th century!!!!!! I always thought Mrs. Sullivan's chocolate cake looked tasty!!!

I like that episode, too - one of the more lighthearted ones in the overly-somber eighth season. |

When did the Taco Bell Dog show up? I never saw that. I did like the Mrs. Sullivan episode.

not one of my fave episodes.
was there really chains in that era??? I mean, it seems impossible that in that day and age there would be chains of restaurants. |

I think the Fred Harvey restaurants in the late 1800s were the beginning of dining franchises.
http://www.firstcitymuseums.org/1history.html So it would not have been implausible at this era of the show. |

Mrs.Sullivan's.
This is my favorite episode. The Pan Fried steak,Roast Chicken, and Beef stew looked good,so did Mrs.Sullivan's very own Chocolate cake.
