Has anyone seen this new irritating black bar that cuts the picture off the screen? It even cuts off the names(stars, producers, directors). The orange pop thing was annoying but at least it went away and didn't block the darn picure! Something has to be done about this. Here's their number.

I know what you mean. The logos are 1 thing (to promote the network, make more $, help the ******* figure out what they're watching, blady blady blady BLAH!

) but that black bar is ridiculous for it obscures the camera shots at the bottom of the screen. Very annoying.

What are they thinking at TNN? They are nuts, and I am no longer going to watch their station. I called and emailed(no response on either) earlier with the other garbage they were running across the bottom.

They have a great bunch of shows, but they are screwing it up with what they are plastering across the bottom of the screen. The black thing is unbelievably annoying!

When I called TNN's #, I told them I was going to boycot their sponsors, and now I am going to try and contact their sponsors and tell them this.

Obviously, someone has rocks for brains at that station!

Looks like our work has paid off! The black bar is gone! Woo-hoo. Now let's all wait for them to go split screen!LOL

It's baaaccckkkk! I swear, I do not know what they are thinking! I tuned in to watch Newhart today, and there it is. I know I am watching Newhart, I don't need the bottom 1/4 of my tv plastered with a black line telling me that!

I say call and email again. But I doubt they give a hoot.

What a WASTE of good programming!

Yeah, I saw that--guess I spoke too soon! As twinkle44301 said, continue to e-mail and call TNN. All our calling must've done something. The bar did get a little thinner--not by much though! Something so stupid shouldn't be there in the first place! And I totally agree with the rock for brains statement!:-)

Madness...Maybe if we keep at it, they will finally give in and give the viewers what they want! Geeze, they must think we are a pack of idiots.

I sent another email today. I tried calling the toll-free #, but was unable to get through. Hopefully the lines are clogged with people who feel the same way we do.

It may take a while, but I would imagine they will eventually get the message.

Of course all their commercials don't have that black bar. They need to be consistent; if they're gonna have that black bar they need to have it on ALL THEIR COMMERCIALS TOO

LOL--I know what you mean and I definitely agree! The commercials should have the black bar.

I tuned in to the Wonder Years today, and that stupid black bar is still there. It is smaller, but still as annoying as all get out.

I agree, those fools at TNN must be on drugs! Drugs and rocks for brains...nice combination.

I keep thinking they might respond to my e-mail, but I guess not.

Another thing I noticed(found at clicktv.com), is that TNN is no longer running their shows in order. For some reason, they have been skipping over the Christmas episodes(at least The Wonder Years ones). That hacks me off, because the holiday episodes are my favorites. I knew all this good programming was too good to be true. They need to put one of us in charge!
