Question Can you type without looking?

I learned a few weeks ago how to do it but I only do it at school. I'm lazy like that.

Yeah, sometimes I do it without any mistakes, other times I can't get a single letter right

I am doing it at the moment, but it can be tricky. If I am talking on messenger or something, I have more of a chance to mess up. I just use *** and correct myself. It is easier than looking every second.

Yes, I can. That's how I was taught in typing class in Jr. High (back in 1975).
I never look at the letters when I type posts here, but sometimes I have to look at the numbers because they are farther away than the letters.
I remember typing at 35 wpm in typing class.

I also remember a few guys at school kidding me for taking a typing class. They asked why I would take such a class. I should have said because there will be something called the Internet in 20 or 25 years!

I type the traditional way of typing...using the correct fingers for each key. I used to type 60 wpm, but I'm sure it's less now. I'm a very good typist.

Yes, I can generally type without looking. I do type quickly that my boss and co-workers often call me a "lightening keyboarder!" I just have some trouble with some of the numbers and characters, especially the ones I don't use often or are hard to reach. Therefore, I sometimes find myself having to hit backspace and re-type some things.
