Okay, I know there are two types of Freaks and Geeks DVDs out there...one a collector year book addition or something, and another the regular one. Can someone please tell me the difference between the two sets. Also, I hear that they don't offer the special collector's set anymore. Is this true? Cause I have been googling and amazoning lol, and can't find the yearbook addition on sale right now.
Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance! |

I'm assuming there's still some collecters editions left because it's still being advertised at the official site. If you search around that site you'll see a more detailed list of the extras too. |

The Deluxe Edition Set is still available at the official site. I just got it for Christmas.....The main difference is that there's a Big yearbook that comes with the set in the deluxe one, and there's 2 bonus disc's with special features on them-that are only available in this set.....The Original Box Set is the normal 6 disc set. The only difference is the yearbook and 2 other disc's. If your main concern is Just the Episodes, then just buy the regular edition. It's $100 cheaper. And those features are great too.

Thank you both!
The reason I was asking is that my dad wants to give the set to me for my birthday, and I didn't want him to spend too much, and I wanted to know what I was missing out on if I got the regular one. |

The limited edition is great if you're a diehard, can't-get-enough fan, but the regular edition is fine in itself. The regular edition has enough on its own where if that's the one you get, you'll be satisfied. All the extra stuff on the yearbook edition isn't mandatory. You'll do good with either one. |
