does anyone else agree with me that Ally really went into sharp, depressing decline in the final season? The first three seasons were great, and while season four had way too many guest-stars, it was still quality television, but the last season it tried to encapsulate four seasons in one. The new blood that was in and out within 10 minutes, Ally's whirlwind relationship with Victor (Jon Bon Jovi) and then her finding out she had a 10 year old daughter (still IMO one of the stupidest storylines a tv show has ever thought up)

The quality of the whole show just went downhill that last year. We can all see why it was canceled. I used to watch it here and there when it was on. Most of my family watched it and absolutely praised this show, so it was difficult for me not to tune in every now and then. I used to watch it before Boston Public on Mondays. I was never a "Loyal Viewer", but when the series went into syndication on FX back in 2001, I used to watch it after Buffy here and there. I would say to my cousin "oh god. You all think this is the best show ever??" and she'd say "oh. that's the last season. Don't watch that". LOL......I don't know what happened. It wasn't funny either anymore....Did Ally get a Series Finale or was she just canceled?

well, Ally was cancelled in the middle of April 2002, but Kelley managed to rush together a series finale, which was kinda disapointing
