Default Brad Garrett

I think if they would ever remake the munsters, Brad Garriet of ELR fame would be the right person to play Herman, he's the only actor out today that I see a lot of Fred Gwelyn in.

Yeah, Brad probably would make a good Herman. He certainly has the height (he wouldn't even need the special shoes that Fred Gwynne wore to add to his
height). And his facial expressions are pretty funny.

On one of the ELR season sets in the out takes section he does an uncanny impression of Herman.

Do you think he could be him in the Wayons remake? It would be great if he was.

I just realized that Peter Boyle (EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND's Frank Barone)
played the Monster in Mel Brooks' film "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN." Ironic, huh?
Maybe this thread should be titled "Son of Frank(enstein)"!

Your right. I remember seeing Brad Garrett's stand-up routine back in the 80's; in his act, he used to refer to himself as the illegitimate son of Herman Munster and Greg Brady. I've also seen him do an impression of Herman Munster; very funny and accurate.

On 10-25-05 it was posted on my message board that some folks had gone to see Butch "Eddie Munster" Patrick. Butch confirmed the rumors that Brad Garrett from "Everybody Loves Raymond" will indeed portray Herman Munster in the new Munster movie coming out next year!

Cool, eh?

He'd probably make a fairly decent Grandpa. Just needs the widows peak...

This is good news, I wonder what Butch Patrick's involvement will be.
