Default So let me get this straight, J.J was actually going to roll the TV through the.......

Projects and then through the streets all the way to Harry's Hock Shop when he was trying to sell it? J.J was really mentally disturbed-lol Not only was he going to roll the TV all the way to the hock shop, but he was taking a TV there that he didn't describe on the phone so once he got there he would have not gotten anything for it anyway. So i think it was good he good ROBBED in the hallway, because it saved him the long trip of going all the way to the hock shop and coming back with no money-lol.

BTW:Why would J.J be mad at himself for GETTING ROBBED and he was the IDIOT who didn't have the TV inside the box?-lol

I so agree with you soloman. I made a thread abt this the last time this episode aired because it was idiotic for him to think he could roll a tv thru the projects and NOT EXPECT TO GET ROBBED. How many times have the Evans' been robbed, etc? How many times did they say how dangerous the projects were? Etc. Etc. Etc. JJ was stupid for doing that. Go to the welfare and get emergency rental assistance. That's what it's there for.

What if they were moving and JJ was taking the TV down to put it in a truck. Like I said last time they needed the money, you can't sit on your butt and wait for someone to bring you money. They lived in those project for what 16yr at that point. How many times had they taken furniture and other things up and down without getting robbed. The guy from the pawn shop wasn't going to come to the apartment to get the tv so JJ had to take it down. Like I said last time, JJ should have called one of his buddies over to walk with him to the pawnshop, but they would have still gotten robbed prob. Even if JJ had the tv in a box they would have still taken the tv no matter what.

Bottom line, like Soloman said, they wouldn't get any $$$ for the t.v. because the one JJ described and the one they were going to show up with, were two different t.v.'s, so in essence, the Evans' lost a t.v. for nothing.

Didn't that TV magically appear on down the line? Was that the same tv as on What's Happening?

Yeah I thought that it was the same TV on What's Happening in the episode when Raj has the church raffle. And when the gang was at Raj's house, Raj tv looked like the TV that was on Good Times.

I'll have to check it out later on tonight when I get home.
