Thumbs up I've never had this happen

My family went out to dinner at Russ's, a local restaurant chain. We all had a great meal. As we were getting our check and our to-go boxes our waitress ask if we wanted to have some cups so we could take our pop home. I've never been ask that at any sit-down restaurant. What a great idea, as it will just get thrown away. I just thought it was a really thoughtful thing to offer. Do other restaurants do this?

Nope they don't do that here yet. However, that sounds like a great idea! I would totally love to drink my soda on the way home.

Yup, any restaurant I've ever been to except for buffets offer it.

No, I have never been asked by waitors/waitresses for a to-go cup. However, I am usually the one who takes initiative and ask THEM for a to-go cup because they've never offered it to me. But yep, it's do-able. They just don't do let you take out alcoholic drinks. Taking non-alcoholic drinks is always good.

I've never asked for a cup, but I think I'm going to start. I had the best raspberry lemonade at Bob Evans recently and I would've loved to take it home.

that's so weird to me that so many people have never heard that... I do it all the time! Granted, most of the time the waitor/waitress doesn't ASK.. but I just say "can I get this in a to-go cup" and out it comes...

I wanna go back to a Waffle House. Haven't been to one in years.

That was random.
