Default David was the Ultimate LOSER-LOL What man would wait a week to hear if a woman

would marry him or not?-lol This idiot told Ann he will wait a week to hear her answer to whether she would marry him or not. Damm he was a Nerdy and Desperate. To top it all off he askes Julie and Barbara to convince their mother into marrying him.
Unbelivable-lol

He was not a good match for the character. He is so geeky and at least to me, he doesn't seem so sharp. and yes, definitely he was desperate. No one else would have him.

He must not have really wanted Ms. Romano THAT bad!! I seem to remember an episode where Ann catches him bed with another woman! LOL! Hopefully it shows up on Comcast. One episode a week isn't enough for me.

I always thought he was a lawyer? He must've been a young-just-starting-out lawyer since he lived in the apartment upstairs.

I like Richard Masur as an actor - but his character David was definitely too clingy and desparate. He let Ann treat him like dirt - and it's no surprise that they split up in the end.
