"I-70 Killer" not what I thought?

Hello all; Thanks to the lovely Crystaldawn around here I have been able to watch most of my fav cases that I have not seen in 15 years or so. Thank you H. Anyways the I-70 case was not was I was thinking it would be. I can remember some maniac driving a black truck/van/pickup terrorizing people along a hilly road. The driver would also throw rocks at people cars from behind bushes n stuff. Can someone point me in the right direction or is this all in my head? Or maybe on a different show? I dont know... THANKS!~

I belive you may be talking about the suspect in the Alicia Showalter Reynolds I can recall the suspect driving a black pick up truck stalking women on the interstate in Virginia here is a link about the suspect.. along with a composite sketch of the killer!

My pleasure Missing Tiny! It sounds to me the story you're thinking of is about "Carol". She was a professional woman on her way to work when she came across someone in a black pickup truck driving erratically. I don't remember of any mention of throwing rocks but they did show cars driving on hills in the segment. If I remember correctly he would speed up and then slow down as she was behind him. He then got out of the car and police estimated was only about 10 feet away and shot her in the face! She did survive but the bullet is still lodged inside her, too dangerous to remove. Other drivers came forward to say the same driver in the black pickup truck was taunting them as well. He would pull out of a wooded area in front of a vehicle and then back up, things like that. There was a composite sketch of him which in my opinion is one of the more memorable composite sketches on UM. I have no info on whether anyone was ever arrested. Does that sound like the story you're thinking of?

This sounds alot more like it! You'll have to pardon my memory coz it's been so very long since I've seen this. Crystaldawn, do you have this one available for a DVD again?
