Kevin (Morris Thorpe) Hooks is still directing. Finishing up my 24 Season 4 dvd set today, I noticed he directed at least two of the episodes leading up to the finale.

Then flipping through channels I noticed Larry Flash Jenkins (Wardell Stone) on tonight's episode of The Shield.

We already know that Tim Van Patten (Salami) directs Sopranos episodes and Thomas (Hayward) Carter has directed hit movies like Save The Last Dance and Coach Carter. I'll keep a lookout for other Carver High alumni sightings.

Nope.

I thought everyone around in the early 70s knew of JT. It was this drama special starring Kevin Hooks as a young boy in NYC who found and took care of a stray cat. It's considered a classic story that was made into a tv special in 1969. Janet Dubois from Good Times was in it also.

OMG, never heard of it. Or maybe it's just my memory. What station carried this special? Do you have any links for it?

Unfortunately there's not much online. I was looking for some stuff to post (pics, links) when I made the first post and couldn't find anything. Here's an imdb link. For its time, it was really good, especially seeing it for the first time as a child.

I vaguely remember something like that.

I know that Kevin did a movie with Irene Cara called "Aaron Loves Angela." And don't forget "Sounder"

Ken Howard just did an episode of "The Office." Ken also did a movie with Liza Minelli called "Tell Me You Love Me Junie Moon."

Irene I agree with you Kevin is still fine!
