Another Alternate Reality Photo: The Brady Brood (Brunette Carol, Blond Mike) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I took me all bloody week scouring the internet for rare, archival photos of 1970's-era actors and actresses, but here for your enjoyment is a "what-if" photo of the Brady Bunch, as originally envisioned by Sherwood Schwartz, with the girls cast as brunettes and the boys as blondes.

I had planned on using our beloved Debi Storm, aka, "Molly Weber," as "Jan," since she was first cast as "Jan" before Sherwood changed his mind and went with a blond "Carol," but, unfortunately, I couldn't find a color photo of her as a teen.

I was, however, able to find an old photo of Mary Treen, aka, "Kay," who actually took over "Alice's" duties as the Brady maid in "Goodbye Alice, Hello," after the kids ran her off for allegedly snitching on them for misbehavior.
