I missed Mondays and Tuesdays episodes, and I was wondering if anyone knew, what segments were profiled.
Did they air the Wadada segment or the segment where the motorcyclist is run off the road by a semi? I know as of last week they were in the 1994-1995 season episodes. |

I didn't see it on Monday, and tuned in late on Tuesday. I know they did "Kevin and his Message in a Bottle," and one about an anonymous blood donor who saved a baby's life years ago and she wants to thank him.

I saw Tuesday's episodes. Jeez, only hours ago and I'm struggling to remember the segments. Aging sucks.
Yeah, they had the message in the bottle. Also the ultra lame statues that cause pregnancy, another one I'd love to bet against. That's a quick click segment. They had the guy named Smith who killed his own sister yet was somehow paroled 10 years later only to kill again. He was with friends who were watching the UM segment profiling his case, and the woman recognized him since he had the same tattoos on his arm plus the picture resembled him. He was caught during a pursuit and he tried to disarm a policeman during the capture so he was injured himself, and UM showed him in court with bandages at his arraignment. Also, the interesting case of home invasion robberies in the same area. The one where a woman and her son came home only to find masked intruders in their home. She instinctively ran toward them for some reason. They were bound on the floor and expected to be shot but were not. Locals gathered info about many similar robberies and presented the evidence to auhorities. I'm blanking now. Oh, the Jonathan Palmer impersonator. Some guy named Keens pretended to be a famous race car driver and scammed plenty of people and companies, including a woman who was interviewed. They had an "update" from 1997 that he was caught and sentenced to 15 to 17 months of jail in Europe, plus wanted in other European countries along with Connecticut. I have no idea what happened to the subsequent charges. UM also showed the segment about the up and coming rocker who was found dead in his car in the '60s, ruled a suicide but very suspicious and thought to be a murder. The "I Fought The Law" guy, Bobby Fuller. |
