I got mine in the break in between my classes. I've only watched "The Good-Time News" so far, but I really like the menu! I think it's pretty.

TV

Well I bought it!! And I started watching one, and thought "They have the wrong summary on here!" then I realized that I'd put in Disk 2 instead of Disk 1. LOL

I've so far seen, "Farmer Ted and the News" and "Have I Found A Guy For You". (Anybody notice that Linda is Flo from "Alice"?)

I think I'm going to go watch more here soon!

I got mine tonight, too! I agree w/ Leigh Ann, the menus are nice. They're different from the previous seasons, but in a good way, lol. So far, I've seen "Good Time News" and "Rhoda the Beautiful," two of my fave eps. I love seeing all the stuff we never saw on N@N!

Actually, that was Beth Howland who played Vera. I enjoy seeing Beth in other parts. She's quite good really, and cleans up rather nicely, don't you think? Nice to see her looking pretty and being assertive.

I confess I miss the Emmy award extras. but the new set is great.

YES! I prefer the "Play All" option. And you have mentioned the two episodes that I was looking forward to the most. You've got to love Mary telling Ted to shut up on camera, and Phyllis singing "Ten Cents A Dance" to her captive audience! LOVE seeing the bits that syndication callously clipped away!

Yeah, oops. That's right, it was Vera. My mom had mentioned "Flo", but I'm sure that's what she meant. I'll mention it to her. I guess it didn't 'dawn' at me at the time. I know Flo was the one that always said, "Kiss My Grits!!" LOL

And I remember one ep where all the girls are in a truck and Vera mentions just having 'her life pass her by'... lol.

Ok, I'm going to reply to my own thing here, lol. Mom had said the show "Flo" I believe is what she had meant, and I had said the correct show, "Alice". (Something like that) lol

Yes, I've really been enjoying watching the Season Three episodes. I think this series really gets better as it went on. e.g., I have to admit that I didn't like Season One all that much. Season Two got better. The Season Three, like I said, I've been enjoying more. IMHO, the best episodes are the ones that involve/include the other characters besides just Mary. Yes, it was the "Mary Tyler Moore" Show BUT IMHO, the whole ensemble of characters made this show work. e.g., the one episode where Ted wanted to get a new contract so that he could do commercials was excellent!!!!! I laughed so hard when I watched that particular episode.

Signed,
Respectfully,
Dutch
