Does ANYONE plan to buy the UM Ultimate edition? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I ask because i cant believe there are many of you fans out there who havent bothered to buy atleast a few of the sets, if not all of them...

Are you tempted to duplicate your collection just to get your hands on a box to keep them in and the bonus treasures DVD?

Perhaps we should start a petition to FIRST LOOK requesting that they release the bonus DVD on it's own....not much to ask wouldnt you agree?:

I bought the Bizarre Murders DVD, and I like it, but when I think about how good it could have been, it makes me feel absolutely horrible. I won't buy the ultimate collection, because most of the other DVD sets I really don't care about.

I won't be since i own all the previous sets. Im curious about the Best Of set though, Im hoping some new segments are on these that weren't featured on the others. And i also want to know more about this "Treasures" disc.
Hope more news is brought to our attention so we know what stories will be featured on them.

I won't be buying the Ultimate Edition DVD... depending on the content of the Best Of DVD, I'll most likely buy it (provided that it's not just pieces of the previous boxed sets lumped together)

I don't plan on getting this set. I have it all. The new treasures disc alone can't make me undo that purchase. If the info from amazon.com is right, then we'll still be able to get treasures. my post from the other thread (at the bottom):

But from my perspective, it certainly gives more hope about the content of these discs. At least if its right that there are 14 new stories not on dvd before, and that we'll actually be able to still obtain the Treasures segments, the new ghost stories. That is still 2 more stories we don't know about. And I pray that the others aren't rehashes. But still wouldn't it most likely be? That still leaves 22 stories that could be rehashes. Lets hope that they
make those ones more worth it, by giving commetary on some the stories that didn't have commentary before, and hopefully some of the 14 new ones have commentary. Or maybe the its mostly new? That be 26 stories are new to dvd. We still don't know what it means. The total amount of "best of" stories was 36 according to tvshowsondvd.com. Either its 14 new leaving 22 old, or 26 new and leaving 10 old. We need more info! I really hope its the latter count so it'd more worth the purchase. "

I'll buy it. Though I'll probably wait for the ultimate edition to go down in price, or buy it online.

I will most likely purchase the "Best of..." but probably not the "Ulimate Edition". Not that I am not a huge fan of the show, but for that very reason. Correct me if I'm wrong but, I think that fans of UM have seen pretty much all the cases MORE time than we could count over the years. Just matter of fact though. Everyone has their own preference.................

Not that I am not a huge fan of the show, but for that very reason.
