Default Anyone here won a contest/awards of any kind? (Radio, lottery, school, sports, etc.)

In fifth grade I was the spelling bee champion in my grade.
In seventh grade we had at my school a day called "Field Day" and all the students participated in all kinds of physical games; me and my best friend won the "ski contest" and we both received blue ribbons.
In 1988 I won a radio contest to attend a private party with the then Los Angeles Raiders.
I also won tickets to Six Flags Magic Mountain and Sea World from the radio.
I won a third prize in a raffle but I can't remember what the prize was
In college, studying to be a paralegal, I was on the honor roll every quarter. When we graduated I received honors and I was also bestowed with a plaque for perfect attendance.

Well, I won the 6th grade spelling bee back in 1994. I was a 2.0 student, and I beat all of the 4.0 students. That felt really good.

I was also one of a select few people in my middle school to win an athlete of the year award. I won it in the sixth, seventh, and eigth grade.

Lets see, what else?? Well, this wasn't really an award, but I did have the longest long jump, and the highest high jump in my 6th grade class. I jumped 14 and a half feet long, but I can't remember how high I jumped. All I know, is that the class had to stay in gym, as the bar was raised higher and higher, until I couldn't clear it.

That's all of the achievements I can think of right now. If I think of anymore, I'll post them up.

i almost won at a game of "spin-the-bottle" this one time, but the bottlecap flew off and hit me in the eye and I had to be rushed to the hospital.

Default Hi, Irene!

I won a spelling bee in 4th grade, I won musical chairs at a Halloween party when I was a kid, and I won $330 dollars off of a 3 way number lottery here and I won a few bucks off of various scratch offs.

I won 1st place for the 50 yard dash in third grade.

I didn't actually win this one, but I found out later that if I would of turned in my football pool, I would of won. I didn't bother turning it in because I didn't think I had a chance
