Tomorrow Never Dies. A lot of people hate Brosnan, but he really did get a lot of people into Bond who didn't watch them before he came in. I will miss Pierce.

im a big Bond fan - its hard to pick a fav movie because I like all three of Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery and Roger Moore as Bond.

I've read almost all of the books (there's about 50 of them) and I liked Never Say Never Again even though its not on the list.

what about poor Timothy Dalton, lol. Funny that Connery and Brosnan have had great careers and people will always associate them as Bond but also notice them for other things, while Dalton's had a career of grade-Z movies that fill up space on HBO late at night. Bond gave Brosnan the clout to say "I want to bring Remington Steele to the big screen" and people will listen, while at this point, Dalton is playing in Dean Cain vehicles

That's right, I forgot about him. So I guess not counting the new guy, there have been 5 Bonds?

"Never Say Never Again" was not exactly part of the James Bond series except for "Casino Royale" which was not part of the saga outside of the 007 films.

Of the ones I saw, I chose Moonraker because it's a cheesy Star Wars ripoff - - thoughg For Your Eyes Only rates a close second because Carole Bouquet is in it.

From Moonraker:

"Why did you hurt my python, Mr. Bond?"
"I discovered he had a crush on me."

I am not a James Bond fan but the first one that I ever saw was Goldfinger so I will go with that one. Sean Connery IS Bond,. James Bond.

you're right about Moonraker ripping off SW. At the end of The Spy Who Loved Me, it even mentions that For Your Eyes Only was to be the next Bond movie, but then they shelved making FYEO until after they made Moonraker to cash in on the Star Wars phenomenon

No kidding! I don't think I ever saw The Spy Who Loved Me, or maybe I did and forgot that ending title.
