I remember reading awhile back that Diff'rent Strokes and Punky Brewster sales were hurting chances for FOL and Silver Spoons to come out on DVD. Well, Sony announced season 2 of Strokes some time back, but now we're also getting season 3 of Punky, so why not bite the bullet and release FOL and SS? FOL is one of the most in-demand shows on DVD, why not release it? Silver Spoons has a cult following as well. Surely Sony doesn't really think "Action" would fare better?

Action was and I believe is still last on their poll. Why they're releasing it and not FOL & SS is beyond me. If Sony really owns the rights to Punky Brewster and Shout Factory is still releasing it, couldn't they release SS as well? Well hopefully DS S2 will sell better than S1, and hopefully PB S3 will sell better than previous seasons. Then they might consider releasing FOL and we all know that will sell well. Then, maybe then, they just might release SS. I really think Sony has it in for 80's shows.
