Default All Creatures Great And Not So Great ` has anyone noticed`

Hi its Laura , just thought i would mention something .Has anyone noticed in the above mentioned episode that in the scene where david and maddie are looking through the cab logs and the particular part in the evening when maddie finally finds the farethat have been looking for and goes over to where david is sleeping on the couch and she wakes him up ,well if you look closely when david wakes up and goes to grab the log book that maddie is holding up in front of him instead of taking hold of the book he takes hold of maddies hand holding the book and actually moves his hand along to get a really good grip of her hand and maddie doesnt seem uncomfortable by it at all in fact she lets david do this for quite sometime. Now i wonder if that was in the script or was that a bruce and cybill intimate moment.
Now if you watch closely enough nearly all of the episodes even from seasons 4 and 5 have little pockets of touchy feelly moments between bruce and cybill . If any one else has spotted this and has more examples then please add them to this thread. Thanks

Laura - you and I think alike! There are many moments during all of Moonlighting that I find quite interesting.

I like this thread. I know that happened quite a bit in ML, but I will have to keep my eyes open while watching and then post some examples.

Season 2, "Twas the Episode Before Christmas" If you watch the part at the end as B and C are walking out of "the office" to start singing with the staff and crew, they're holding hands. Ok, fine, but they're holding hands with fingers interlaced. (Ya know, like lovers do, not friends.) I can't imagine the script was so detailed as to specify HOW they should hold hands. I think they must have added that themselves.

I just watched that ep a couple of weeks ago and found that very interesting too. I agree, I bet they added it themselves And ya know, if it was in the script, it seems odd considering their relationship at that point. I mean, the kiss was under the mistletoe, so that was the built in excuse for that. But, what's the reason for them continuing the lovey-doviness? Hmm...

I swear he "tweaks her butt" in Perfetc. It's the scene in the museum when they are talking to the curator, right before the painting is smashed over their heads.

Also, that scene in "In 'n Outlaws" on the couch sure is interesting.
By the way, the woman "hangin' from the ceiling" is wearing orange Reeboks, isn't she?

How about the dance scene in When Girls Collide? I know, I know - it's hard to watch the entire episode, but the dancing between BW and CY sure is EXTREMELY CLOSE.

The scene in Eine Kleine where Maddie and Agnes find David and you-know-who in the room - Cybill ends up on BW's back - he actually rubs his body back and forth with her on his back - the look on her face is priceless when she gets off.

The tender kiss on the cheek in Eine Kleine, and then he says "see ya later", not "see you tomorrow".

This is why I find season 5 better than season 4. It's the "special, interesting moments" that I love.

Another big one:

Father Knows Last

WHEN DOES DAVID ADDISON EVER ASK MADDIE HAYES TO MARRY HIM? That scene was soooooooo believeable that it gave me chills.

Hi its Laura again ,heres another one for you .In the episode Those Lips Those Lies,in the scene where daves brother richie is talking Maddie in to investigating Benny Largo and the particular scene where maddie goes back into her office and sits down and david follows her and sits down next to her and is saying that she is a soft touch etc. He slides himself right up close , so close infact that when Richie walks in and David and Maddie swing round i swear that their legs are intertwined and hes got his hand on her thigh ,now i dont see any reason for that to be in the script do you!

Ooooooh Laura, you and I definitely think alike.

Those Lips Those Lies is one of my favorite Moonlighting episodes. I feel the same way about that particular scene that you do - they were definitely intertwined!!! I love it when he looks directly in her eyes and says "... a sucker".
PLUS check out the dance scene when they play "It's In His Kiss". That is definitely an interesting way to do the Cha Cha. His arm rubs her chest and he actually looks down.
PLUS, check out the end of the dance with Richie (miss you Charlie). Cybill runs her hand ever so slightly down Charlie's arm - BW looks directly at Cybill's face with a strange kind of look - shall I dare say it? of jealousy IMO. Plus that entire dance scene with Charles Rockett always intrigued me - it looks to me like they were dancing and he was positioning her in front of a monitor so when Charlie was supposedly talking about Rita, he was actually having Cybill look at the monitor picture of herself.

I love Those Lips Those Lies.

It was the tongue kiss to her neck that got to me (and it got to her by her reaction)! Plus, he does say something to her when he is trying to take her dress off that they cut out - what did he say to her? The mind reels...

All of the ML episodes directed by Dennis Dugan were quite interesting.

That's why I was so excited when BW hired Dennis Dugan to direct one of his movies that he was producing several years ago (maybe "Ace In The Hole"?). The movie fell through, but at the time, I was sooooooooooooo excited that they were going to be working together again.

Plus, several years ago, I swear I read that BW said that he had tried directing during Moonlighting. Which scenes/episodes were directed by him? I dunno. Maybe he did the couch scene?!
