Default Smallville: Who Dies In Episode 100??

Who do you think's gonna die in the 100th episode??

My first choice is Chloe - she knows the secret and doesn't factor into Clark's later life as Superman or at the Daily Planet.

My Second Choice, Martha Kent - because Jonathan Kent is too obvious due to his heart condition and having almost bought the farm (pun firmly intended) once before.

Martha,I seriously doubt it because she's still there when Clark decides to become superman. She's going to make the suit.Yeah!Blame her for sewing the underwears on tights

I think it's going to be Johnathan.

You're thinking Lois & Clark.

Keep in mind that Smallville goes against the grain of traditional Superman continuity - after all, in every other Superman movie or show before this, Clark always met Lois when he started working at the Daily Planet as an adult and after he'd gotten his powers and knowledge of his kryptonian heritage. He was also in the tights and cape before Metropolis as well.

In the pre-1986 movie, TV and comic book continuities, Martha Kent had died by the time Clark came to Metropolis. Apparently, Mrs. Kent is not the only one who can whip up a snazzy outfit for her son.

Ironically the current Martha Kent - Annette O' Toole - played Lana Lang in the 1983 movie Superman III. In it, Clark is reunited with Lana Lang at the Smallville high school reunion after well over a decade. Lana remarks that the last time she saw Clark was when he returned home for...his mom's funeral.

Martha dying is not out of the question at all. Neither is Lana or anyone else dying out of the question.

For some reason i think Lana is going to die, but Chloe is also a possibility.

If you notice, Erica Durance now appears in the opening credits before Alison Mack.

Are they trying to tell us something?

That doesn't necessarily mean anything. Appearance in the opening credits is negotiated between the actresses' agents/managers and the producers. Some actresses prefer to have their names later in the credits.

In some shows, many big stars are the last ones to appear in credits. For example "And also starring so-and-so as..." I can see why they do that, because that's the last name you see. Joan Collins was always the last person you saw in Dynasty's opening credits back in the '80s.

I just think it's funny that Erica Durance is appearing in roughly half the season's episodes, yet her credit is ahead of Alison Mack's. It is strange...

Yeah!Annette O'Toole made a great Lana Lang in Superman III

You're right,I'm thinking too much about the superman's mytho as I know it.Everything can happen in that show. But,Martha almost die in a previous episode and she survived. Why would they choose to kill her now?I still think that it's going to be Johnathan. He made a deal with Jor-El.I read that another may die too.I think that it won't be a real person but, this probably means the end of Lana & Clark's relationship or Lex and Clark's friendship.

It can't be Lionel.Remember,it's supposed to be someone close to Clark so,it can be:Lana,Chloé,Johnathan or Martha?

maybe there's a shocking new plot twist in the works that will change that...

couldn't you just see Lex calling Clark "step-daddy"?

Go to the Kryptonsite message board to the spoiler section Plus on the Kryptonsite news page there are screencaps from a trailer that shows Lana's vehicle getting hit by a school bus

Oooh Thanks! Wow, that's sad. I'm glad she doesn't die. I love Jonathan, and I'll miss him on the show...but the show doesn't NEED him.

I wonder how they reverse time. I'm sure Clark doesn't realize he can race around the world and do it... LOL

Ok, I just gotta say that I went to the forums at Kryptonsite and I looked over the pics and read a lot of the posts...and it's all speculation from rumors/trailer pictures. So anything can happen. It's hard to go by that kind of stuff. Who's to say Lana doesn't die? There's no way of knowing what order the pictures go in...and how do we know that Jonathan isn't just knocked out? It's anybody's game here. Could be Chloe. Everybody's always getting hurt and knocked out on the show, that doesn't mean they die. Trailers are there to get you sucked in, but they usually aren't what they appear to be. I would just hate for a rumor to get started when it's not positive. Not saying it's not true...it's just there's a chance it might not be.

www.smallville-hero.com has a trailer up from the 100th episode.

Warning: IT'S VERY SPOILERISH, so if you don't want to be completely spoiled don't download it It's about 3 minutes, and very edge of your seat

John Schneider also let it slip on his website that it was Jonathan. He said this after pics of Clark carrying a very limp Jonathan in the fortress of Solitude.

John retracted that, probably the WB doing damage control.
