Default is there anything I need to know about ma932588?

I am about to do a trade with him and I was wondering if there is anything I should know about him. I have read some reviews about him here and he seems like a great trader. Thank you in advance.

Default Ma??

I have seen this Ma guy post his list a few times and I think it's the exact same list I got from a guy named PAUL who has the e-mail address Paulc1975@yahoo.com (something like that). He's a good guy. I had no problems with him since Sept. 2003. He was one of the first people I ever traded with and he made me feel good about starting so good luck to you.

John

Really? I never thought someone would have a problem with Paul. Is it because he is a VHS trader?-lol

No, I knew I was getting VHS, trouble is I never got the tape.
He returned what I sent him instead.

This was 3 years ago but I never forgot.

It wasn't a big trade or anything like that but I think it was rude on his part not to follow through.

He needed some episodes of the show Married With Children, and I had the 24 disc set that everybody else has. I sent him the episodes he needed from that and I was to get a couple of episodes of Partridge Family on VHS (this was before PF was released officially).
Anyways, I sent him my part expecting to get what we agreed on. Few weeks later I get a package with my MWC discs back but no tape of Partridge Family. He apparently did not like the quality of the episodes was his explanation. Most of you have seen that set, it's not a 9/10 quality set but it is MORE than acceptable quality. A lot of us have it or HAD it in our collection 3 YEARS ago.

I mean for a trade this small why not follow through.? It was a crummy 3-4 episodes each way. Very petty.
All I was to get was 2nd or 3rd generation VHS copies !!!

How many of you would have not followed through on a small trade like this, even if it wasn't up to what you had expected? The trade was so insignificant but it leaves a doubt in the other person's mind about you.

hmm, I am doing a small trade too. The quality I would say is about 8.5-9 so I hope that is fine with him. He never said any thing like how is the quality. The thing I am getting I am sure is at least 3rd or 4th generation.

Yeah I'm sure everything in your collection is PERFECT QUALITY whatever the hell that means. And Paul is a good damm trader so it' no need to bring up the Quality isssue because he is a VHS trader. IF I recall the DVD's you sent me wasn;t PERFECT QUALTY either.

Default Retro, Retro, Retro.....

Howdy Retro--- I was NOT being Negative to MA932588, he

IS repeat IS a good trader

I was just stating that sometimes older vhs tapes are not as perfect as if u taped something straight from satellite to dvd

I got some stuff from him I needed

I got Some missing ALICE episodes that were 6-7 of 10 quality

I got The Bugaloos from him which is about 7.5 quality average

I got some other stuff from him---- some was 8 of 10, some was 7 of 10

BUT i am happy with it all

and NO, everything in my collection is not perfect either,

THAT IS WHY I rate every series on my list on 1-10 scale to try to let people know

MA--- is a good trader

And NO i have no problem with VHS Traders at all, in fact I did 3 trades with vhs traders this month and was happy with what I got from all 3
