I don't understand why parents will buy these for their kids... at this point, just buy them NOW 948438 or whatever theyr'e on, I mean, if you want your kids to hear these songs, at least let them listen to the originals.

It's not like these are the Seseme Street records we grew up with as children (such as "Born To Add", which included "Letter B" based on Let It Be and "I Can't Get No Co-operation" based on Satisfaction) where they took popular songs and made them educational and kid-friendly. From what I've heard of KIDZ BOP, it's a bunch of tone-deaf seven year olds screaming song lyrics that are way too mature for them, I mean, "Wake Me Up When September Ends" does not have the same meaning for children that it does for adults, and so on....

I am looking for "KIDS BOP: Death Metal Style" where the kids perform Cannibal Corpse and Mayhem tracks

Yeahh thats what it basically is accoriding to the commercials. If they REALLY want ther kids to sing along then buy the CD so they can.

They completley ruin Kelly and Green Day's songs. And the rest. They sound awful on all of them.

I always kid my teen daughter when I tell her I am gonna buy that CD and play it full blast if she doesn't do her chores!!!!!! She screams, "NO!!!!!!!!!!!"

It's ridiculous. Why let the kids hear a bunch of kids singing to the song when you could just buy a compilation? Or have someone like me burn a CD for them?

It's one thing to buy a CD because you think it's the original singers singing, and another thing to buy the CD knowing it's not the Original Singers, but a bunch of little kids singing. I myself, bought a CD from a thrift store called 80's Chartbusters, hits of the 80's! , thinking it was original singers, for 2.00, then after I bought the CD(thrift stores will not give you refund or exchanges after you buy the merchandise), I looked at the cover, and it read, "Hits of the 80's sung by the CountDown Singers? Uh-oh. Countdown Singers? That didn't sound like original singers to me. I listened to it, and I realized some of the singers were trying too hard for some of the songs. I went on the internet, and I realized that it got a "1 1/2" rating out of a "5". But some of the songs sounded really good. And what a rip-off(KIDZ BOP). I almost fainted when I saw the price of KIDZ Bop(all of them) 18.99! Almost 20.00 for a CD that litlte kids are singing the song! Why not get NOW(any issue) for the same price? Now has the latest hits, but it is the original singers singing.
