I think the low fro suited her better. Don't know why that's not on any of the covers. It should have been on season 1 or 2.

It's a shame John Amos was hair was thinning so bad to stop hom from having a Fro-lol J.immy Walker didn't have a fro until Season 6

The high fro look gave Florida a better look. Plus she was dressing better and wearing more jewelry. I appreciate the natural beauty that Esther Rolle had in the role of Florida and did not wear wigs nor weaves in her hair. The episode in season three The Rent Party when her, Willona, and Thelma did the Supremes Stop in the Name of Love the wig she wore did not look natural on her. You can tell that Esther looked uncomfortable in that wig.
