Did anyone else see last night's episode??? Does anyone have any clue as to what that black cloud of smoke was??

We've seen those clouds before, but never so clearly. Rousseau said they were part of the island's "security system", but maybe they're leftover from one of the Dharma Initiative's experiments. Did you notice that there were images from Eko's past in the cloud? I saw part of his brother's church, several different people (perhaps the man he shot when he was a boy), his brother's face, and the crucifix. Also, it was making a mechanical or metallic noise. Maybe the clouds are some sort of scanning device. I don't know.

I'm sure it will all be explained eventually. It might take a few years, but I can wait.
