How to tell if a Myspace profile is fake - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

is there a way to know if someone's profile is fake and was made by someone totally different than who they are claiming to be? cuz that woman online who i made a thread about before was talking to one of my best friends, who gave her the link to my myspace profile, and she said "theres no way a kid created that. it has everything the police look for in a sick, perverted profile. whoever made that profile needs to be locked up in jail". WTF? what kinds of things to police look for on those profiles? my profile isn't fake and i definitely want to fix whatever looks fake about it.

She is the fake one and she is loony, crazy and weird, just like those mentioned on my thread...

Well. not for anything, but my mom is friends with a cop, who is on a task force that looks for pedofiles on the internet. He told her what she could look for on Myspace profiles that may show the person isn't real. I'm not sure what they are though.

But there may be something about your profile, because when my mother saw it, she wouldn't let me request you as a friend. Yeah, so I don't know. Your friend may see something too, but I don't know what.

but there is nothing fake or crazy about my profile, it must be a coincidence. this same lady said my friend Natalya's profile was fake too. mine is here

i think one of the things she would think was fake was that i have a bunch of teenage girls on my friends list. and that i didn't post a picture of myself (well i did but i deleted it).

i think that the problem that woman was seeing is how my friend list is all teenage girls (half clothed, i might add) and the police would think i have plans to stalk them. oh please, my profile is different than most people's?
