Question episode 1

In the first episode, Andy hands an album to Johnny, who is half asleep playing some middle of the road song. Johnny gets excited at finally playing rock and roll. What is the first song played in the new format?

The first song Johnny ever played on the new format was "Queen of the Forest" by Ted Nugent, which has been replaced with generic music in the new season 1 box set

The "Hallelujah Tabernacle Choir" version of "Having My Baby" (plus Johnny's facial expressions while it plays) is just too hilarious. I don't blame him for destroying the record as soon as the format changed.

It's a shame that both of those above listed songs mentioned were replaced by generic music for the first season DVD set. At least Johnny's facial expressions are still there though, which were always hilarious!

On the DVD I saw, "Having My Baby" was on there. I know it was on the VHS tape in the box set put out by MTM. Also, Bailey's yawning cracked me up.

I like the maniacal snicker Johnny does as he's cueing the record (is that the right term?) just before he announces "All right, Cincinatti!"

Gotta love Johnny's cackling - right before he drags the needle right down the record. "All right, Cincinnati, it is time for this town to get down!!!"
