When I was growing up there was this old man who lived down the street from my house and he would stand outside and yell at us kids that we would make too much noise. He would threaten to call the cops and stuff. He was a real pain in the neck. He was kinda scary too
My sister has a neighbor who washes all the cars her family has (two dodge trucks and two compact cars) everyday!! Not one day goes by that she doesn't wash those damn cars! Only when it rains she doesn't, but still those poor cars are getting water on them!! Not a day goes by those cars aren't exposed to water!!!! She is weird definitely. |

Yea we've had some crazy neighbors. In the last house we lived in we had this fourtysomething couple that were pretty crazy. We lived in a five-plex and their bedroom was on the other side of my bedroom wall...and I won't go into details, I'll let you figure that out, but I'd knock on the wall just to let them know that I'm right there and it's late and-eww ok anyway but then they would yell and I'd sometimes yell back. Ugh, I hated them. The lady, Barb, had a mullet. Why? I couldn't tell ya, but she dressed like from the 80's and wore mom-jeans...eww. Late one night, she and her boyfriend were talking and they were keeping me up so I had to listen to their conversation
and she was talking about how her son had drug problems and she got in trouble with the law or something, she was talking about some court date and how it didn't look pretty. But they were weird. They were the number one reason why we got out of there as quick as we could!

God, yeah
We have this bitch of a woman next door to us....well, she BUGS out whenever we park our cars in front of the patch of grass near her house. Mind you, this area is nowhere NEAR her front door (her fence ends quite a bit before this plot of land) but she claims she's trying to grow a garden there or something (I doubt it). Anyway, she used to come out and yell whenever a tip of the tire was touching her lawn. Hahaha, so one day, when I was getting dropped off at home from a good friend, I told him to speed up on "her" grass and drop me off there I think he attempted to do a doughnut before leaving too

OH sweet jesus, I could tell you a million storys about my neghibors. They're "hardcore Chirstians". She lectured me how Metallica was the devil because I was wearing my master of puppets shirt while she was over. Lord she is stupid.
But it was so funny yesterday...You see her kids play with my brother all the time. One of them is 12 and is really creepy. She has issues I'm sure. anyway, I offered her some of my old CDs and I had one Jessica Simpson CD in the box and she looked at me and said "Mom says Jessica Simpson is the devil" I started laughing my ass off! ![]() yeah weird people.... |

I live next door to a bunch of college students and they can be pretty loud sometimes.
Much, much, much, much worse though...I think my last next-door neighbors at my old house were drug dealers. Well not all of them, but someone in there was a dealer. I knew cuz that house got busted by police one time. I also think someone there actually lived in the GARAGE. I don't know...those people were just scary dudeeee.

I had some neighbors down in Texas who always had at least 4 Audi cars sitting in his driveway, at any given point. But they would change quite often. It's like he had an 8 car rotation going on.

I currently live next door to a strange family. They don't do anything illegal, they're just...strange. That's it.
For a while when I was growing up, I lived in apartment buildings. When I was in junior high, this lush mom with two kids (girl that was two grades ahead of me and a boy that was a grade behind me) moved into the building. Jesus...that was an adventure in itself. They only lived there for one year, but it was one LONG year with them around. I felt soooo bad for her kids...they were extremely poor because of their mom's heavy drinking habit. The apartment reeked sooooo bad too, and there would literally be hundreds upon hundreds of empty beer cans lying around the apartment at any given time. They got kicked out in May of 1999, just right before I finished 8th grade and got ready to start high school. Last I heard, cirrhosis finally kicked in and claimed the mom's life - that was in January of 2002, when I was a high school junior. I haven't seen either kid since my sophomore year...I always wonder if they are doing OK and if they are leading better lives in a safer household.Otherwise, that's all I can think of. |

My neighbors now aren't really strange...but I guess their situation is. It is a family of about 5, I think- three kids and the parents. Well the house next to mine is really owned by the mom's father. He is the one who has the deed and everything for the house. Well, they started bugging him a lot (because he just lives up the road), constantly taking advantage of him, and he decided that he wanted to get rid of them. So he sold the land (about one acre) and the house (probably a 3 bedroom) to my dad for really really cheap (maybe $12,000....it was RIDICULOUS how cheap it was) so that the family couldn't live there any more. So, technically, it's our house now...but we haven't told them they have to leave yet. I think we're gonna give them another month.
My best friend has the craziest neighbors ever though. They live in a trailor across the road from her house, and it is crazy what goes on down there. The police are always over there, busting up a meth lab, or chicken fights, or something. One time they had a Welcome Home sign in their front yard....but this wasn't someone returning from the war. He was coming home from jail. Then another time they set the woods on fire, claiming to try and get rid of mosquitos, when in reality they knew someone had called the cops and they were burning down their marijuana garden in the backyard and the fire got out of hand. There's so much stuff that goes on over there....her family really needs to move.

There used to be these EXTREMELY weird people who lived across the street from me. I could go on for hours about all of the extremely WRONG things they did...But the ones that will always stick out in my mind was these two.
Once the father of the family was taking a bath OUTSIDE in the snow with a hose...NAKED. I have no idea if he was drunk or what (probably was, the entire family was a bunch of drunks) but it was one of the craziest things I've ever heard of. I didnt see it myself thankfully, but my parents and my sister did, unfortunetly. I was taking a nap. Their daughters (and his wife) would walk around outside wearing towels, I presume cause they had just gotten out of the shower or something. Then they'd walk into the house next door. I don't think I wanna know what the heck that was all about. This was long before those incidents, but when we first moved in here my Dad talked to the father and since our car broke down and wasnt repairable (would be less expensive to buy a new one) he gave it to him because he "wanted the parts" instead of taking it to a junk yard or whatever. Instead of taking the parts he DESTROYED it with a sledge hammer out in the street. I swear, there was basically nothing left of it when he got done. Glass and metal all over the place and in the street. My Dad didnt really care because he just wanted it off his hands. About 4 years ago the cops kicked them out of there or something. I think they were selling drugs. Their abandoned house burned 4 times before it was torn down...And supposedly THEY were the ones burning it. Crazy junk, I tell you. |

We used to live by some hicks...yeah, hicks in the burbs. They had 3 fatass kids, all of whom looked like they had a combined IQ of 16. Their junk cars were always in the street, one of them blared their music, they'd play basketball at 2am, someone was always honking at 6am...god they were dumb****s.

Sounds like the neighbors that live directly across the street from my maternal grandma. I used to live next door to that same grandma so they were my neighbors at one point. We had a lot of really weird neighbors when I was growing up. Add on to that, there was [is] an apartment building across the street from the house I grew up in, and there were a lot of loonies in that building. Their kids were loonies too. I swear...nobody on my block was normal. My family + my maternal grandparents were the only sane ones on the block.
