The Purple Giraffe
The "purple giraffe" episode was interesting in that it used a plush toy as a metaphor for something Ted couldn't really have. By the way, I couldn't help but think of this album cover, which also used a purple giraffe symbolically:
Stephen Stills had the purple giraffe included in the picture to send a coded message to someone, never revealing what the message was or whom it was meant for. |
