we saw "Big Earl" and Little Earl" in the soda shop-lol That did it for me. That proved the show was over with a capital O. Little earl and his father should have only been seen AT Raj;s Apt and that's it.

And besides the introduction/casting of Big/Little Earl in the last season of WH, the show began to dwindle mainly b/c of a variety of behind-the-scenes disputes among the main cast members...
In my honest opinion, if Fred Berry (Rerun) hadn't been so egotistical in making the real open statement, "I AM the true star of THIS whole show and always HAVE been" (which, of course, wasn't true by a long shot), and also putting himself above everyone else, maybe something could have been done by the casting crew in order to make the show itself last for at least a couple more episodes...?
Who KNOWS...Anyways, WH was good while it lasted.

I think he was the star of WH. Without him the show was not as watchable which is why I was too crazy about WHN when he left the show

The show was crappy when Fred was on the show. I think when Raj moved away from home that's when the show went downhill. Also Mable leaving didn't help the show any.

How did the show go downhill due to a character leaving who was barley seen on the SHOW?

Straight up in a nutshell, there were many factors that made WH dwindle in popularity and so forth, during its final season...

Because there were less scenes in the House and more scenes at the soda shop

And that's why the show started to go downhill. Viewers get use to seeing a certain type of scenery when they watch a show. And that's why most shows don't work once the characters move to a different location. And getting rid of great characters don't help a show either.

No that's not what I'm saying, Did you see that in my post anywhere? What I'm saying is that, when Raj moved away from home the show went downhill, it wasn't the same show anymore. Mabel was gone and Shirley took the role as the mom on the show, Not a good move. The story lines became tired, not interesting and stupid. Season 3 of What's Happening sucked, it wasn't all that good. There were maybe 1 or 2 ok episodes.

I just want you to stop mentioning Mabel for the reason the show became uninteresting because it as several others things besides that
