There is still time for them to get married. I personally hope they don't though. I don't like Rose.

I have to agree with the last two posters. I can't stand Rose! Simon needs to
come to his senses and dump her (in my opinion). She has few (if any) redeeming qualities. Again, that is just my opinion.

I disagree with you. That would be too awkward if Martin really is the father of Sandy's baby.

Haylie Duff (Hilary's older sister) plays Sandy on the series.

Actually, I wish the young lady playing Rose (I don't know her real name) all of the success in the world in her acting career... I just wish she'd go have success on one of the literally scores of shows I DON'T watch!

7th Heaven is literally the ONLY currently running show that I watch (I also watch the Hallmark Mysteries with John Laroquette (sp?), Kellie Martin and Lea Thompson (McBride, Mystery Woman and Jane Doe, respectively) but being Hallmark, they'll produce a couple of episodes (2 hour movies) of each, and then run them each 25 times (usually 2 or 3 times in one night) before they come out with new ones.

Dick van Dyke has a new Hallmark Mystery series as well (called Murder 101, in which he plays a college professor of criminology who solves murders on the side), but I wasn't too impressed with his performance in the first episode. Considering the way his character was written, they should have cast Jerry van Dyk in the part.

But I don't watch 'reality' shows, don't watch crime shows (I watched CSI when it first came on, but if you've seen one episode, you've seen them all...I don't watch TV shows or movies merely because they have good special effects, because I already know that you can pretty much do anything you want using computers, so they don't impress me at all). < 'okay, here's where the knife entered the body' (camera zooms in on flesh wound to show what the inside of the body looks like)... big deal>

Let's see, don't watch political shows like West Wing (I like REAL politics... btw I haven't heard much from 'Commander in Chief' is that still on? The ratings were heading south fast)...

But the last two shows I watch regularly were JAG (which ended last May) and 7th Heaven. ... Only other stuff I watch now is football, a couple of reruns like Seinfeld, and political shows, mostly on Fox News).

Don't watch 'Dancing with the Stars', puhhh-leeeeaze!!

Oh yeah, and I never watch award shows either...including the TV Land awards, since the first one I saw was so pathetic...

But don't any of you out there cry for me, please! I like it this way

I doubt Simon will end up marrying Rose. When the show is over it has to end happy and people are supposed to think Rose is really annoying. It would be good to have the finally be their wedding and have him decide not to marry her.

Her charector doesn't really annoy me. I think she is funny.

The last line of the final episode should have Simon telling the rest of the family "I decided all of you were right after all, so I told Rose to drop dead...man, what did I EVER see in that gir?", and then fade out with the whole family cheering Simon's decision!
