More like 27-30. She looked like he was Julie and Barbara's Older Sister rather than their Mother. To me she didn't look old enough to have teenage daughters

Bonnie Franklin really was 34 back in '75. I have an old TV Guide somewhere with her as the cover story.

My aunt had her first kid when she was 16, and people used to think she and her three daughters were all sisters since they are looked so much alike.

Bonnie was 31 in 1975. She was born in 1944. Her and julie looked 10-12 years apart in those first episodes-lol

Bonnie and Mackenzie was actually 15 years apart but Since Mackenzie was so Tall and Bonnie was so young looking they looked more liked Sisters than Mother and Daughter.
